Peec AI alternatives compared (2026)

Otterly, Geoptie, Rankscale, AthenaHQ, Profound and a done-for-you option, with each vendor's own prices as read on November 1 2026.

The main Peec AI alternatives are Otterly (from $29 a month), Geoptie (from $49 a month), Rankscale (from $17 a month, billed yearly), AthenaHQ (a free plan, then $295 a month) and Profound (enterprise, custom pricing). All five are self-serve dashboards, like Peec.

Heard of You is a different kind of option. It is done-for-you: a $149 one-time audit and a $799 one-time project, where a person does the placement work and re-asks the same questions to prove what changed.

Every price below was read from the vendor’s own pricing page on November 1 2026. Prices change often. If one looks different today, their page is right and ours is out of date.

A few details from those pages, so the table is fair:

  • Rankscale shows a struck-through list price next to a lower one on every plan: Pro $99 shown as $84, Pro+ $229 as $195. Only Essentials says “yearly”.
  • Otterly’s add-on prices grow with the plan. On Standard ($189 a month), Gemini and AI Mode are $59 a month each and Claude is $109.
  • Profound lists no prices at all. Its trial runs prompts it picks for you, which you cannot edit.
  • AthenaHQ is the only one on this list whose entry paid plan names Meta AI. Peec lists Meta’s model under Enterprise.

Where the dashboards are better than us

  • Daily numbers. Every tool above runs your prompts every day. We ask 25 questions three times each, four times in 90 days.
  • Scale. Hundreds of prompts, several brands, several countries, agency workspaces. We cover one product.
  • Engine breadth. Rankscale lists 17 or more engines, AthenaHQ eleven on Starter. We ask five.
  • Price for watching. If you only want to watch, $17 to $49 a month is less than our audit.
  • Teams. Seats, roles, exports, APIs. We are one person and a report.

If you have the time to act on the numbers yourself, one of these is likely the better buy. Otterly or Geoptie fit a one-person budget best.

Where Heard of You is different

  • Done-for-you. The trackers show you which pages AI cites. We pitch 25 of them, with two follow-ups each, and write 3 pages for you: your story, one honest comparison, one alternatives page.
  • A fixed, one-time price. $799 once for the project, $149 once for the audit. Nothing renews unless you choose the optional $349 a month plan after the day 30 re-check.
  • One accountable founder. Dasha runs it and answers for the result. AI agents do much of the reading, drafting and outreach, and nothing goes out in your name without your say.
  • Proof by re-asking. The same buyer questions, three runs on each of five AIs, at day 0, 30, 60 and 90. You get the raw answers, not just a score.
  • A written promise. Every deliverable ships within 90 days or your money back. Miss the day 60 target and we keep working free until day 120. Details on the guarantee page.

What none of us can do

No dashboard and no service can make an AI name you. Answers change from run to run. Anyone promising a ranking in ChatGPT is guessing.

Choose a dashboard if you want daily numbers, track many prompts or brands, or have a team that will act on them. Choose us if you are one person, want the placement work done once at a fixed price, and want the same questions re-asked to see if it worked.

Questions

What is the cheapest alternative to Peec AI?

Of the tools on this page, Rankscale's Essentials plan was the lowest list price on November 1 2026: $17 a month, billed yearly. Otterly Lite was $29 a month and Geoptie Starter $49 a month. AthenaHQ has a free plan with 300 credits. All of them are self-serve dashboards, like Peec.

Which Peec AI alternative covers Claude on the cheapest plan?

Geoptie. On every plan, including the $49 Starter, you pick any 4 of 7 engines, and Claude is one of them. Otterly offers Claude as a $29 a month add-on on Lite. On Peec, Claude was listed under Enterprise.

Do any of these tools do the work for me?

Mostly no. They measure, and some suggest content changes. AthenaHQ lists white-glove setup and a GEO specialist on Enterprise, and Otterly lists a quarterly health check on Enterprise. Heard of You is the only option here built around doing the placement work, for a fixed one-time price.

Is Heard of You a Peec AI alternative?

Only if what you wanted from Peec was to get named more often. We do not sell a dashboard. We do a one-time project: we pitch the lists and sites AI already reads, write 3 pages and set up review profiles, then ask the same buyer questions again at day 30, 60 and 90.
