Results from real checks What happened when solo founders ran a free AI visibility check: the numbers, what they changed, and what we are measuring next. By Dasha. Updated November 5 2026. https://heardofyou.io/results These are real founders who asked for a free check, read the report, and agreed to be named here. Numbers are copied from their reports. Nothing here is a promise about what an AI will say next month; it is what it said this week. CollectIQ: the buyer's own question was the one that worked Kinecia Wheeler runs CollectIQ (https://trycollectiq.com), invoicing and payment chasing for small B2B service businesses like commercial cleaning, staffing, trucking and trade contractors. What the first check found. 0 of 75. The names buyers heard instead were QuickBooks Online (54 answers), FreshBooks (53) and Xero (45), with chasing tools like Paidnice and Chaser riding along as add-ons. Only the homepage was readable: the pricing and about pages returned "page not found", and pricing and comparison pages were exactly what the assistants leaned on. The second pass. Kinecia sent four questions in their own words, the way they thought their buyers really ask. One was "QuickBooks alternative that chases payments". Kinecia guessed it was the one that mattered. In 60 new answers, CollectIQ came up once, and it was on that question: Meta's Muse listed CollectIQ first, as the "best full QuickBooks replacement for SMBs", quoting the CollectIQ homepage and linking to it. QuickBooks itself appeared in every one of the 15 answers to that question. One answer in 60 is not a trend. It does show the assistants can find CollectIQ and will use its own words when they do, and that the founder's instinct about the question beat mine. What they did. The same evening, Kinecia put up seven pages: the missing pricing and about pages, a page each for staffing and trucking, one answering "isn't QuickBooks enough?" (and conceding it often is), and two FreshBooks comparisons that say plainly where FreshBooks and Paidnice beat CollectIQ. They also fixed dead footer links and put the four industries on the homepage. Two of the new pages: CollectIQ vs QuickBooks (https://trycollectiq.com/quickbooks) and FreshBooks alternatives (https://trycollectiq.com/freshbooks-alternatives). > Both reports landed and they're better than audits I've seen people charge four figures for. One in sixty isn't a trend, but it quoted our own line back and cited the site, which tells me the problem is reach rather than message. That's a much better problem to have. > > Kinecia Wheeler, CollectIQ What's next. We measure again in early December, once the new pages have had time to be crawled. What this shows - Starting at zero is normal for a young product. Most checks start there. - The first fix was on pages the founder could change that night: missing pages, and the questions buyers ask that nothing on the site answered. - The founder knew their buyer better than any tool. The report is a list of where to look, not a verdict. More results go here as founders agree to be named. Want to see where you stand? The check is free and takes about ten minutes.
