Our promise and refund policy What Heard of You guarantees, in plain words: the deliverables, the keep-working rule, what is never promised, how refunds work, and how to claim. By Dasha. Updated November 1 2026. https://heardofyou.io/guarantee We promise our work. We do not promise a machine's opinion. This page is that promise in plain words, and it is the policy we hold ourselves to. 1. What is covered: the deliverables On the first day of a project you receive a written deliverables list. For a standard project it contains: - 25 named lists and sites pitched, with two follow-ups each, and a record of every pitch and reply. - 3 pages written for you: your story page, one honest comparison, one alternatives page, each delivered to you for approval. - Review profiles set up on the 2 sites AI cites most in your category, with a review request drafted for you. - A founder-led Reddit plan with drafted replies. - Re-checks at day 30, 60 and 90 on the agreed 25 questions, with every answer saved and shared. If any item on your list has not shipped by day 90, you get a full refund of the project fee. "Shipped" means the pitch was sent, the page was delivered to you for approval, the profile was set up, the plan was delivered, the check was run. It does not mean a list said yes. That is the editor's decision, not ours. For the audit, the deliverable is the report itself, due within 7 working days of payment. 2. What triggers "keep working": the N rule Before a project starts we agree, in writing: - 5 buyer questions, chosen from the 25, that will count for this promise. - The target, N. Those 5 questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity make 20 answers. N is the number of those 20 you were named in at day 0, plus 3. N is never less than 3 and never more than 7. - What "named" means. An answer counts as named when that AI names your product in at least two of its three runs for that question. Same wording, same location, fresh chats. At the day 60 re-check, if you are named in fewer than N of the 20, we keep working on your project at no extra cost. We run further checks at day 90 and day 120. The keep-working period ends at day 120. It is not open-ended. A one-person business cannot keep an open-ended promise for everyone. Founding customers get the day 120 window as standard. So does everyone else. The only difference for founding customers is that the audit is free. 3. What is never promised - What an AI will say. We do not promise that ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or any other assistant will name you, recommend you or rank you anywhere. Their answers change from run to run and model to model. - A ranking or position. A stable rank in an AI answer does not exist, so we do not promise one. - That a specific list or site will accept you. We promise the pitch and the follow-ups. Editors choose. - A number of reviews. Reviews come from your real customers. We set up the profile and draft the request. The count is theirs to decide. - Traffic or revenue. We report mention rate, and AI referrals from your own analytics if you share them. We never promise or claim revenue. - Money back for AI answers. The refund covers our deliverables only. A keep-working outcome is not a refund trigger. 4. What pauses the clock The 90-day and 60-day clocks pause when a deliverable is waiting on you. For example: - a page is drafted and not yet approved; - the customer list for review requests has not arrived; - a page is approved but not yet published on your site, where we have no access. The weekly email says what is waiting. The clock restarts when it is unblocked. Pauses are logged, so there is no argument later. 5. How refunds work | Situation | Refund | |---|---| | A listed project deliverable has not shipped by day 90, and the clock was not paused for that item | Full refund of the project fee, $799 | | The audit report is more than 10 working days late from the date of payment | Full refund of the audit fee, $149 or $99 | | The day 60 target N is missed | No refund. We keep working to day 120 at no charge | | An AI does not name or recommend you | No refund. This is never promised | | You change your mind before work starts | Full refund, if we have not yet run the baseline check | | You change your mind after work starts | No refund; the deliverables promise still applies | An audit fee credited into a project becomes part of the project fee. If the project refund applies, it is refunded with it. Refunds are paid the same way you paid, within 10 working days of our confirming the claim. 6. Keep growing For the monthly plan, the promise is monthly: at least one new placement attempt and one re-check report each month. If a month's deliverables do not ship, that month is refunded. Otherwise the 3-month minimum stands. After the minimum, cancel any time by email. No further months are charged. 7. How to claim Email hello@heardofyou.io with "Promise claim" in the subject. Include your product name and the item you believe was not delivered. Dasha replies within 2 working days with the delivery record for that item. Then either the refund, or a plain explanation of why the item counts as shipped. If we disagree, we say so clearly and point to the record. You can take it further under the terms (/terms). 8. Changes to this policy If we change this policy, the version in force when you paid is the one that applies to you. The date at the top of this page is the current version.
